Spring Is Upon Us!

In February the snowdrops blossomed, and now the crocuses have joined them.

The bees, fuzzy with pollen, luxuriated in the blossoms.

  1. Gorgeous, as usual, Katharine. Did the Lilies of the Valley make their normal early appearance? In gratitude to be reminded of the wonders of nature… Theadora

    • Greygoddess,
Thanks for your note. I will go look in the place that lilies-of-the-valley live, to see if they have appeared. Thanks for the reminder!

  2. Oh these colors! Don’t you want to just paint these to keep them forever? And how happy is that bee? Can’t imagine what’s going through his little head right now. I heard on the news this morning that it will be 80 in Chicago. I hope this does not portend to be a killer summer. I just can’t take the heat.

    I love the word “snowdrop.”
