Spiritual sustenance, naturally.

Even though late afternoons are a low-energy time for me, I decided to cook a paella for dinner tonight.

There are many steps in the process, and I miscounted the number of asparagus spears I would need, but apart from that – yum!

These days I am delighted by the simple pleasures.

  1. THAT looks amazingly delicious. I want to dig right in.

  2. We ate it again this evening, and it was even better than it was yesterday. The recipe is from the book Art of Vegetarian Cookery – which my daughter (who loves word-play) used to refer to as Cook a Vegetarian Artery.

    • Thank you, Betty! Your FP post caught my attention. Moving into the wisdom years is a mixture of delight, loss, humor, release, compassion, and so much more. I’m glad you stopped by.
